LOVE MOVIES? Want to rub shoulders with nationally known filmmakers?
The 2011 DocuWest Documentary Film Festival, now in its 3nd year, is just around the corner, September 7-11, 2011. The five-day line up will include more than 50 critically acclaimed, award winning international films with topics ranging from the environment, to art, music, politics, world business and more.
We need YOUR help. We encourage you to volunteer for the 3nd Annual DocuWest Film Festival. No experience is required, just a bright, energetic personality is needed.
Volunteers are needed Wednesday, September 7-Sunday, September 11. All shifts are 6 hours (can be split into two 3 hour shifts).
VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE: 6-hour shift = 8 festival passes 12 or more hours = 2 all access passes
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: 1. Box Office - general ticket sales and will call tickets 2. Theater Venues & Festival Parties - direct audience to screening venues, check passes, tear tickets, monitor flow of attendee traffic 3. Behind the Scenes - set-up and tear-down for screenings, parties and events 4. On the Reels - run projectors during screenings
VOLUNTEER TRAINING SESSIONS: Attendance to one training session is mandatory (special arrangements can be made upon request).
